Day 2 (July 3rd)

Today we woke up to a nice & cool morning at the Hampton Inn in Cleveland, Tennessee for a delicious continental breakfast with an unusually friendly food server. Afterwards, we went into town & visited the Church of God International Offices (unfortunately the buildings were closed, but we did get to see the beautiful grounds). After that, we visited the gorgeous grounds of Lee University and some buildings- then in Chattanooga, we visited the visitors center, the Tennessee River riverfront, Rock City Gardens (Awesome!!! you can see 7 states: Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, NC, SC, & Alabama on a clear day) in Lookout Mountain, Georgia, Point Park in Lookout Mtn., Tennessee (overlooking Chattanooga), went to a shoddy museum about dragons that was a house w/ 2 cars in the parking lot that scared us away, the Bluff View arts district in Chattanooga, and a little disc golf for Dad, Grady, & Claire. Dinner at the Cracker Barrel in South Pittsburgh, Tennessee and then off to Alabama to our friends the Brooks, near Huntsville, where we are now. This is my 1st time in Alabama and the 1st time I had been on a road with a speed limit of 65 and railroad tracks lol. Busy day...took LOTS OF PICS, to be posted soon.
